Responding to a request for 'a Japan that is entirely my own,' we designed a 12-day itinerary incorporating a private Yuzen dyeing session at a normally closed Kyoto workshop, an intimate dinner with the head chef of a Kanazawa kappo restaurant, and an early-morning zazen session at a temple not open to the public. A dedicated guide accompanied the client throughout to bridge language and culture.
