Hello! This is S from Public Relations!
The hotel I stayed at this time was Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Gangnam, located in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea.
It is one of South Korea's most prestigious luxury hotels.
Opened in 2021, it was established as a flagship hotel inheriting the tradition of Josun Hotel, South Korea's oldest luxury hotel brand.
As a member of Marriott's 'Luxury Collection,' one of the world's largest hotel groups, it is highly acclaimed by affluent guests both domestically and internationally.
Its Position in South Korea In South Korea, it is known as a 'top-tier luxury hotel,' alongside establishments such as:
Signiel Seoul
Four Seasons Hotel Seoul
The Shilla Seoul
Josun Palace
Particularly in the Gangnam area, it is one of the most popular luxury hotels.
History and Brand Story Josun Palace traces its roots back to the 'Josun Hotel,' founded in 1914. The Josun Hotel was established as South Korea's first authentic Western-style luxury hotel and served as a guesthouse for the nation for over a century.
Josun Palace opened in 2021 as a hotel that carries on this tradition into the modern era.
The name of the hotel's '1914 Lounge & Bar' also originates from this history.
Meanwhile, on social media and YouTube, there are rumors that Korean actors and even BTS have stayed here!
It is recognized as a staple among luxury hotels.
Furthermore, the historic Josun Hotel (now The Westin Chosun Seoul), the root of the brand, reportedly hosted numerous celebrities, including Marilyn Monroe and former U.S. President Gerald Ford!
The rooms were like this, and I was deeply impressed by the sophisticated interior, characteristic of luxury hotels in Korea!
And the most highly recommended aspect of this hotel is the buffet available at 'Constans,' the all-day dining restaurant on the 24th floor of Josun Palace!
At 80,000 KRW for breakfast and 198,000 KRW for dinner (205,000 KRW on weekends and holidays), these prices are among the highest in Seoul.
The buffet, primarily composed of Western, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cuisines, offered value beyond its price, making it a culinary experience I highly recommend even if you're not staying at the hotel.
As someone who frequently enjoys delicious Japanese food, I was surprised by the quality of the Japanese dishes, including freshly fried tempura and crab! Sushi is prepared on the spot by a chef!

Enjoying a 'Hocance' at a Luxury Hotel *Hocance (호캉스) is a Korean-originated coined word combining 'Hotel' and 'Vacance'.
I also used room service and was able to enjoy delicious chicken and tteokbokki of the same high quality! Josun Palace offers 24-hour room service, perfect for a hocance.
Its appeal also lies in catering to those who wish to enjoy meals leisurely in their rooms, as well as early morning and late-night service.
Relaxing in your room
Enjoying the pool, sauna, and spa
Indulging in room service or the hotel buffet
Admiring the night view from the bar or lounge
Enjoying photography in Instagrammable spaces
This hotel was highly recommended for a hocance, offering activities such as those listed above. There's also a convenience store nearby and a Chagee (a popular tea shop) within walking distance, so if you're interested, we highly recommend checking it out! ♡
